By now, most of you have heard the story of Tristen Crouser, the littlest Poster Person (cancer survivor) Elsinore Relay has ever had. Below is an update regarding his condition, as well as a call out for help.

Tristen, and other kids like him, need blood. As a plea and a thank you for what they have received, his mom (Monique) is organizing a mobile blood donor for Valentine's Day. If you are available and willing to donate, please see the contact info at the bottom of the email!

(PS - There wil also be some activities & a bake sale to raise money to offset the costs that Tristen's family have incurred.)
Thank you for any help you may give!

From Monique - I am so Thankfull to all of our WONDERFUL friends, family and people who don't even know us. That have all joined together to support our son Tristen and his battle against cancer. We are honored to share our story and journey with all of you! We hope that our pain and story will encourage everone NEVER to give up! That with God all things are possible. Just 2 months ago my husband(Rick) and I had to do the hardest thing that we have ever had to do. We took a trip out to Forest lawn to plan a funeral for our 5 year old son. We had it planned from A to Z. We were told that he wouldn't make it to CHRISTmas, then we were told that he wouldn't make it through transplant and today we are 3 weeks and 3 days out. We never thought our son would see his 6th Birthday and we celebrated it last Sunday. GOD IS GOOD! Tristen is truely a MIRACLE! He continues to amaze doctors each day. So thank-you for all your prayers and support.

On a lighter NOTE: i had a challange for all of you, I wanted to have 25 people signed up to donate blood and I now have 37 so far. I would LOVE to reach 50 by Wednesday. So please help, I know lots of you are computer savy with MY Space, You Tube, Twiiter, Face book so spread the word!!! The more the Merrier. Lets show them how a community can come together for a very special boy and help all these children here at Loma Linda.

Thank-you or your support Monique Crouser and family

Hello All Thank-you so much for each and everyone's support! We feel so honored that you all have taken the time and interest to follow Tristen's story and updates. He enjoys getting all the FAN mail. We have now collected over 1000 pieces of mail.

THANK-YOU :)

Well here is what's coming up as many of you know Tristen has been on transfusion around the clock for a little over a week now and has depleated the San Berdino blood bank supply of platelets that they needed to reach out to other city blood banks for blood. We would like to help replenish the blood supply for Tristen and many other children who need blood in order to save their lives. So we have teamed up with the san Berdino Blood bank on Sunday Feb 14th between 11am and 4 pm to hold a blood drive in our community. They will be bringing out 2 buses so that 8 people can donate at one time!

WHY VALENTINES DAY ???????
Valentines day is a day to show someone that you love, care and respect them. What better way then to donate blood and save a life. YOU TRUELY SAVE A LIFE WHEN YOU DONATE BLOOD. Just since Aug 2009 Tristen has recieved over 75 blood donation (between red blood and platelets) That means that 75+ people has contributed to saving my son's life. For me that is the best gift that I could ever receive my son's life and through blood and signing up tp be a bone marrow donor you TOO can do that.

SO MY GOAL (Mom) is to have 100 people come out and donate blood, I know that this is possible!! We have been so blesses to have such amazing friends, family, community and people from all over the world follow Tristen's story and pray for him. So please join us on this very special day! LOCATION AND MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW!!!!! IT WILL BE IN MENIFEE/SUN CITY AREA.

IF you are interested in donating that day please email me with what time works for you and I will start making appointments. So that you won't need to wait in line.

We will also be having fun activities and a bake sale to help raise money for Tristen's medical expense. If for some reason FEB 14th doesn't work for you, you can still donate blood at the san Berdino blood bank, thet have a few locations, It can still be in Honor of Tristen and count towards our 100 donations.

Please start emailing me... By the time I wake up, which is early I WANT TO HAVE 5 People willing to donate on the 14th. WHICH AS MANY OF YOU KNOW IS EARLY, YOU DON'T GET MUCH SLEEP IN THE HOSPITAL. Please find it in your heart, on a very special day to show your love and support and donate.
